Summer Court Hall is a Tudor style building set in its own large grounds which are lawned and surrounded by mature trees and bushes. The grounds boast a well established garden with benches set in secluded areas for the residents and their families to enjoy.
Hornsea town is within 15 minutes walking distance and the sea front is approximately half a mile away. The town has a variety of shops and a covered market on a Wednesday, Sunday and Bank holidays. Other local attractions include Hornsea Mere and Hornsea Freeport.
The ground floor has fourteen single and three double bedrooms, one of which has its own conservatory. All the ground floor rooms open onto or look onto the well established and maintained grounds or the secure courtyard in the centre of the home.
A passenger lift is to the first floor where there are nine single bedrooms and one double bedroom. All bedrooms have over head or bedside lighting, nurse-call system and secure boxes for residents’ medications and personal effects.
The home is fully equipped with aids to help mobility problems. For example: raised toilet seats, hoists etc. The bathrooms have bath hoists and there is a wet room for those who prefer a shower. The home has also been adapted with ramps and handrails to ensure the disabled can remain as independent as possible.
We offer secure accommodation for people with Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory impairment type difficulties.
The home is designed to enable the residents freedom of movement within a safe and secure environment. In addition there is a courtyard, safe and private to enable the residents outside access if wished when the weather is pleasant. The courtyard is furnished with seating and tables and safe flower tubs.
5 RGN Nurses and a team of care staff, 2 cooks, 3 domestic/laundry staff and a maintenance and decorating team.
